    which store was your local?

looks like online only for most so have to pay the $10 shipping.

For $9 more JB has this one, dont know if its any better but it says got radio and 720p

  • I bought the Migear one from DSE last year which is the same for $5 but finally I bought Kobo Glo and is a lot better if you read a lot.

TFT is not very for good for reading.

    • Yeah I agree. But I wouldn't trust my kid to handle a $150 kobo glo with care. Much lesser risk to give them a cheap ereader

  • The other big thing with eReaders is the speed in which the pages turn. IN the early Kobo versions it took ~3 seconds to turn a page which can be very frustrating. Kindle FTW imo.

    • Yeah this means you haven't used or tried out a kobo in store since the first gen. The current kobo glo and kobo mini as fast. Both have clear crisp text due to the mini having a smaller screen and due to the glo having a high res screen.
