Mens Corporate-Ish Jacket - Not a Blazer?

Hi OzB, with the winter months fast approaching I'm looking for some jackets that are corporate appropriate (though wouldn't mind if it works for the weekend too) that aren't a suit/blazer. Used a puffer vest last year but want to step it up a little this time around. Zips/buttons/collars/no collars, all fine, and open to everything. The idea I have in my head is wool blazer without a lapel? Does it even exist?

Some of the things I've found that aren't too far off the mark:

For reference, I'm too and from sites most days, in and out of buildings, sometimes in the elements for a whole day.

Thanks

  • This is on special

    • Yes. This will complete my quest to get that quintessential Saddle Club look. /s

  • blazer without a lapel

    That's soooo 2019

  • Chore coat

  • I usually wear this for the office in winter. Macpac and a few others have similar jackets. Seems better than wool or whatever a sports jacket is made of if you are often out in the elements.

That looks ridiculous to me - if you're wearing on top of a business shirt, I think either a quarter zip or standard v-neck jumper, with a puffer jacket, or a proper outdoor rain jacket depending on whether you're outdoors much.
