I want this to stand out in the day so I need at least 36 octillion lumens.
Screen Resolution 1280 x 720
1080p signal is accepted and then downscaled.
neg
This is the information that needs to be in the OP!
Not saying you are wrong.
But I can't find any reference to the display only being 1280x720.
EVERY reference I can find says 1080P.
To confirm what the facts are, please point to where it says 1280x720.
It's a wimus p61…. Google it
This is a Wimius P61. In the specs of the amazon page, the screen resolution is listed as 1280x720
https://www.amazon.com.au/%E3%80%90Electric-Projector-WiMiUS…
@Ryanek: I'm dubious about that. To quote the listing you just linked:
4K Full HD 1080P Supported
Our portable projectors are up to 80% brighter than other 720P projectors
Sorry but this is E-waste.
Ugh
Most likely some store went bust and stock was donated to them.
As mentioned above by Dim Sim the title is misleading as it's not actually 1080P output.
Confirmed in this YT review. Also supported by 1 person in the comments.
Specs on Amazon… Screen Resolution - 1280 x 720
Sorry rep but will have to neg to bring attention to this.
Look, for what it is, this is not a bad price. No one is buying this for their home cinema. Other projectors at this price will only be 180p.
This will entertain a child and nothing more.
Must be an OzBargain, its cheaper than on AliExpress.
Look at this model on Amazon, Aliexpress, Taobao etc. It's still cheaper here you but you will lose warranty if the screen burns in like it does on other cheaper projectors.
Misleading title "Full HD"
For $50 it's cheap enough as a toy for the kids room. Get a few and use them to project Christmas lights and animations at night on the walls of your house outside
True. Keep a kid occupied for a couple of movies and it's paid for itself. Or a couple of kids in one sitting and the price of movie cinema has already paid for this.
Apologies JakDac, I meant to hit plus but hit minus by mistake, and no way to change it. You are correct this is powered by wire AC, not battery powered, so it's not truly portable.
EDIT: just figured out how to undo neg, all good.
Ideal for the little Yard Force power box tho :) @JacDac

Not brand new. These are customer returns.

See that LPN sticker on the top of the packaging? Amazon puts that on returned items when they arrive back in the warehouse.
On the positive side it's nice to see Amazon returns are being donated to charity and not just being taken to the dump.
Won't buy anything less than 15 million lumens.
