Plastic storage tubs $7.50 for 55L @ Mitre 10

Seems to be an okay price, bunnings has them for $12, even the 2 dollar store doesn't come cheaper than $13.
Its the Ezy brand made in china type that woolworths sells.

I want to get quite a few, around 20 - 30, so price is fairly important, but more important is the strength of it. The tubs they sell now are so thin they almost fall apart under their own weight. The Australian made stuff is really good, thick sides and reinforced edges. It feels like you could stand on it. It does however cost $25 apiece, and that's not even for the one with a lid.

Anyone been down this road before? These things are really useful for anyone buying food in bulk.

    Yeah I once bought them from kmart online, they finally arrived 3 weeks after ordering and all were cracked and lids smashed - really cheap crap.

    I since bought some 55l ones from Woolworths at half price a few weeks ago, got 6 and they are they rock solid ones you think you could stand on. Quite possibly the same ones that are at Mitre 10 not sure what Coles ones are like but would be interested to know as moving house soon and these are fantastic for that kind of thing ;-)
