I'm not defending ninja, but so many sites cancel orders for mistakes… Why are we only bringing out pitch forks for these guys knowing full well there was a chance this would get cancelled?

Probably because they kept manually adding additional stock and kept taking orders when they didnt even have the inventory to complete the orders even if it was an error. Highly doubt they would have that much inventory on hand considering how many clicks the original post had.

I've had some experience with these and for $40 it's a good product if you want a blender for work or a picnic for smoothies or something similar. As long as there is enough liquid will handle a few nuts or something like oat clusters to give you some texture.A but fiddly to clean but that's the trade off for the portability you get, feels solid especially compared to a KMart equivalent.

Even if it was an error, $25 for disposable blender is fair price, they chose to be greedy and let mistake harvest user details, not so innocent me thinks.

Everyone commenting negatively about Ninja is so ill-informed.
What happened was -
1) Someone posted the 2 for 1 deal
2) OP found a discount code that reduced the price by $30 and posted about that too
3) Ninja, probably caught unaware that the discount code was being used by the masses, decided to refund everyone who made a purchase using the promo code. They have every right to do this as a retailer.I don't believe it was a deliberate marketing tactic by Ninja. It was a technical error on their part.
Everyone who is posting about receiving marketing and spam from Ninja should have unticked the "Email me with news and offers" checkbox when making their purchase. If you didn't, then you consented to them sending you market material.
If you did untick the checkbox and Ninja is still spamming you, report them to the regulator - ACMA (https://www.acma.gov.au/).
You're right it was probably an error on their part but the reason why people think otherwise was because they were sold out quickly after the initial deal was posted and continuously added more stock at random intervals.
As it was a random intervals it suggests that someone was doing it manually and considering how many people were placing orders they clearly did not have stock to fulfil the orders anyways so why keep increasing stock levels to take additional orders making the problem even bigger?

I've got the Nutribullet and the Ninja. The Ninja is a much better unit. It doesn't struggle to chop up the frozen fruit like the other one
