Found this while trying to buy the M100. Ended up buying the M100 but I think this is still much better value for money.

Is that enough RPM? How many lumens is 1,000,000 RPM?

    • +2

      it's about 650 litres

  • Better than getting 'canned air'? I was considering it and now this seems more durable.

I've got the Jisulife Ultra 1, and from my experience I don't think it can replace canned air for all scenarios. Canned air is still more powerful as the nozel is more concentrated (useful for keyboard cleaning in between gaps). The jisulife ultra 1 is still quite useful for basic overall dusting. The makita DUB185Z blower to me is much more useful (it's so much more powerful) but it is a lot larger.

      • The Jisulife Ultra 1 claims to have 19,000RPM whereas the Wolfbox claims to go up to 150,000RPM so I think there would be a substantial difference in volume of air moved (note, I have not owned either but did buy the Wolfbox earlier today)

        • I think you looked at the wrong one. The Jisulife ultra 1 has 75k RPM. I got it for $81 when it was one sale.

          • @Knightchampion: Must've been the wrong one or I confused the specs, apologies for the misinformation. The Wolfbox is still double so I think it could get pretty close (if not surpass) the pressure from canned air but you're right in your previous comment, the beam of air is more concentrated with canned air and could this be better for cleaning between keyboard keys

RPM in and of itself means nothing. A jet engine big fan goes to around 3000 RPM, but doesn't mean that it pushes less air than a 150,000 rpm fan. It depends on the size of the fan itself.

          • @ATangk: Jisulife Ultra 1 has 19m/s airflow vs. the Wolfbox M100 claims of 45m/s. Is this a more reasonable comparison?

            • @SpainKing: Yes slightly but again, the amount of airflow is different to the speed of airflow, though the speed of airflow at least does affect how well it moves dust.

Going back to the turbofan example, if a turbofan moves air at 19m/s vs the M100 at 45m/s, which one moves more mass of air?

              • @ATangk: The turbofan moves a larger mass of air but would be less ideal for cleaning a keyboard than pushing a plane. If comparing two handheld air blowers of similar size, I think RPM/speed of air movement can be useful as a comparison method (the latter more so than the former)

I ordered the WOLFBOX MF100 that has been posted this morning.. it arrived just then and immediately tested on my keyboard and man, I wish it has been invented before canned air. Literally night and day difference.

Compressed Air usually lost the pressure when the bottle started to get cold and almost no pressure (frozen air) coming out when sprayed upside down.

Have a go of putting offer in at $55, mine just got accepted, plus $11 off , so $44 for it

  • Damn you ozb! I bought one, I have no idea why!

    • I think I have an excuse for the one I just ordered … an iMac that crashes, almost certainly due to overheating.

An Apple repairer would like a lot of $$ to split it open, vacuum it out the fluff within and properly reseal it, but squirting a jet blast of air into the intake might just buy it more time.

Besides, it can also be used to shift the cat fur and dust off all the things cluttering countertops, bedside tables, desks and shelves around the house, a fiddly task using the conventional feather duster. That household use and the threat of a pricey new computer got this the purchase past the 'ministeress of finance' :)

  • I got one from temu for $30 and it's just too powerfull. Never used it inside a PC coz think it will dismantle some sensitive parts.

    • link please

      • It was in the temu app itself..

    • Thats what low speed is for.

      • There is no option to control air flow on my unit

        • This one does. So maybe you need this one for pc parts.

I've received it and it works well as a bed leaf blower for sand.
