About the wine, here is a review from Halliday Wine Companion:

95 Points - James Halliday Wine Companion.

Apparently, 95% of the fruit comes from Margaret River and 5% from McLaren Vale – why bother?

No information as to how this wine comes together, where it was made, who tinkered with it or who put it in a ridiculously heavy bottle.

Details folks, all important.

There’s no denying this is polished and richly flavoured with mulberries and blackberries, cassis and some tangy/tart pomegranate and loads of new oak – cedary sweet and spicy.

The persuasive tannins, plenty of them, flood the full-bodied palate.

In a way it’s stately and so far removed from the elegance Margaret River achieves seemingly effortlessly with this variety.

It’s constructed and yet, some will go for this despite the eye-watering price.

So you had url that is now 404 error and were selling it for $130 before because that seems the going price online.

So it's not really RRP $180.

    • The RRP is accurate.
We could have sold it for $1 a bottle and that wouldn't change the fact that the RRP is $180.
      Cheers.

      • It's okay. At least you are not offering a dozen and advertising it's single bottle RRP.

How does Thomas Hardy compare to the other Hardy?

  • How do you know you're the first 250?

    • Yeah I'd prefer the Schild too. ;)

I was thinking of it, but I still have 2572 days remaining on my membership! I went through my order history and I have purchased 60 dozen bottles of different wines through the years from Skye Cellars. Always been a happy customer!
