I love Victorinox knives. They are more durable than Japanese but at the same time keep the edge well. They are good kitchen workhorse knives and can last decades. My oldest knife from this line is more than 15 years of daily use.

This paring knife is all time low according to CamelCamel, normally forged Victorinox knives of the grand maitre series are $100+
