I've recently had an experince where JB deal one day gave me something from 400$ to 337$
Next day they did the deal from 400 to 370$ and only changed to 337$ when i asked for less.
How does JB decide how low the deal can be?

Offer one third of the price and go from there
Wait for them to say "that's below our cost price" and respond with "so what's your cost price?"
It's not really their cost price, but some salespeople will give you the lowest price they can go to at that point.
