Carv are offering extended annual membership to 1 November 2026 for the normal price of an annual pass (sensors included). Pretty good deal as it would get you the 2025 and 2026 Australian ski seasons plus the northern hemisphere winter of 25/26.

I have used the sensors for a week in Japan in January this year and for basically the price of a 1 day group lesson you get a lot of insight every time you ski.

Sensors are easy to use, just clip onto your straps connect to your phone and they give you feedback on every turn (rising tone if you are doing good, falling tone if you are doing worse) and then summarise tips and what to focus I during the lift ride back up the mountain.

    Had the 18 month deal 2 seasons ago. Bad season ending injury last year , told them and they paused subscription and gave me another year. Unfortunately still out for this upcoming season too , but doubt they will give me an extra year out of it.
    Agree it is a helpful device , first year wasn't so great but last year when they updated app it was much much more helpful.

        Wow carv service is fantastic . Contacted them today to say I'm off for at least another season so they have extended my subscription to July 2027.
        So in theory If physically able could use them for next year's season , Japan's 2027 season and first month of Australian 2027 season.
        Pretty good considering I used it for about 15-20 days in 2023 and 10 days in 2024 before injured and only paid for one years subscription.
        The Original app was clunky and you had to wait until you were in the lift to get advice , which would pretty much say the same thing each time. But last season the new app with feedback for every turn you did was great.

    Paying a yearly subscription just to get sensor sent to you mobile phone while you're skiing. This is the first time I've ever heard of such a device. I must be old!!

      I’ve found the feedback it gives to be very helpful and gives you something specific to focus on for the next run e.g. turn shape, early forward movement.

      Agree the subscription is a pain but I haven’t seen an alternative product that measures and provides feedback on your skiing.

    wow! I have already decided to purchase the carv system this year. this deal is perfect! Anyone knows why we need to have 3 sensors (including the 2 bonus)? This sysem/subscription can only work for one person, right?

      Only 2 sensors, one on each boot.

      You can loan the sensors to someone for a day 5 times. They call it a buddy pass.

      I've pulled them out of my boots and put them in my husband's and put app on his phone and it worked, just had him logged in his apple phone as me( android user).

    I could be wrong. But the Free Carv 2 sensors is the sensor itself. Not 2 x Sensors.

      The title is a little clumsy, you get 2 sensors included with the annual subscription.
