Cheap Accommodation using ENTERTAINMENT BOOK for Mantra / BreakFree

Hi - just booked a cracking deal for Mantra Broadbeach hotel 2BR 4 people $550 4 nights in school holidays 22-26Jan.

I thought most of the Entertainment Book (EB)deals were kind of dodgy with discounts of 'rack rates' etc etc but decided to check the Mantra / Break Free which seem like a genuine 50%

The EB put us to 'departure lounge' website where you need to log in with the EB password - the rates were displayed with this member price and as far as I'm concerned $150 a night for 2BR on the Goldie in peak time - well I'm stoked…

Sharing with OZb'rs and just a reminder it sometimes pays to use the little used back section of the book!

    Booked a 1 night at Sun City last year for about $250; so what you got is a very good deal!

    I get access to the departure lounge website via work, and from browsing it, it looks like a benefit available to members of some unions too. So you might already have access.
    I can confirm it sometimes has quite good pricing, but usually only last minute style in the next few weeks.
