Daytrips Ideas for Sydney, Easter Holidays, Cheap Way to Get Tickets etc

Hi Guys,

Can someone advise on some day trip ideas during this 10 day holidays.

I was thinking a day to the opera house and around circular quay and the rocks.

Maybe ferry to manly etc.

Another for aquarium, madame tussads etc.(Need ideas and way to get tickets cheap)

One for blue mountains and the zoo.

one overnight trip to Newcastle or the entrance (Looking for a beach that has a park on it like Newport beach)

3 adults including 1 elderly person and a teeny tiny 3 month baby.

Looking for ways to get cheap tickets and make an itinerary of sorts.

Thank you

Copy-paste random selection of stuff, see what's open/appropriate, interests and works for you. May also help others.

Peaceful things to take some time out, chill, picnic and destress:-

    • Hike or bike one of the many trails at Ku-ring-gai national park.

    • Take the route from West Head Lookout down to secluded beach.

    • Sit on usually empty Garie Beach and contemplate life.

    • Stop by South Head and watch the boats come and go in peace.

    • Run rings around the Olympic Park Brickpit timing laps.

    • Go to Shep's Mound and gaze at the airplanes taking off and landing.

    • Scale the Pylon Lookout tower and watch the world go by.

    • Take an off-road trip through Blue Mountain to Newnes Plateau/Glowworm Tunnel.

    • Get to Palm Beach and walk to the Barrenjoey Lighthouse.

    • Sit on the cliffs at Clovelly, Narrabean or Curl Curl beaches and watch the waves crashing endlessly.

    • Stroll through Centennial Park with headphones on and do your thing.

    • Do a loop of La Perouse and Bare Island watching scuba divers and snorkelers.

    • Hire a no-license required boat at Cottage Point and cruise the waterways.

    • Find the nearest Golf Driving Range and smack some balls releasing stress in each one.

    • Christmas Carols in The Domain

Yes that will help OP this Easter holidays.

  • Would not go anywhere the Blue mountains or the Zoo Easter Long weekend. You would have to pay me.

    The rest are AI answers.

  • If your group member haven't been to Easter Show - this a must go. It should be a whole day thing, buy today if you want the Early Bird special - avoid going there on Good Friday (I only know this day last year, but I guess it's the same for the rest of the Easter weekends)

Sydney Public transport capped at $9 pp for Fridays to Sundays/Public Holidays - take advantage this on your planner, leave the car at home.

Day trip: Blue mountain, Wollongong, Central Coast. I guess Newcastle can be a one or two nights stays.
