If a rep isn't accepting / responding to Pm's they should be negatively tagged, soft of a ill reputation.

Shouldn't any questions that you have be put in the comments anyway?
If you have a very specific question not relevant to the post (past purchase etc) then sure PM them, but there are other avenues to contact them that are more appropriate.

The problem is some Reps do not accept PM's, in your account settings you can refuse to receive messages,
my point was if they want to use the forum to communicate and attract new business, it should be mandatory for them to accept direct messages.
really now…what is the difference between ignoring a post in a thread and ignoring a private message? Someone has a little too much time on their hands to think this up…

Whilst we cannot force reps to respond to PMs, we can certainly add a check to make sure that their PM is turned on. We'll discuss this and get back to you.

That is what I am after, most of the time it's not that they don't want to listen, it's more that it's turned off by default and they haven't bothered turning it on.
Just an update to say that we will turn on PMs when OPs submit rep deals. This is in the pipeline.

This new feature has been rolled out today. Let us know if you still find reps without PM turned on after they have posted a new deal (since this morning)
I think stores that have bad customer experiences attract negative votes anyway.
