America - Flight info for LAX, LAS and NYC

So my fiancee and I will be travelling to Los Angeles on the 31st of August this year. We're staying for 2 weeks and have decided the trip will be something like this:

Arrive at LAX -> LAS for 5 days -> NYC for 6 days -> back to LAS for the last 2-3 days.

I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience in booking first class flights, what kind of programs or promotions are available that I can take advantage of to get these tickets as cheap as possible.

If anyone has any advice they would like to share please let me know.

Oh also, I've already booked the flights from SYD -> LAX for ~$1100 each.

    Use Flightfox - it will cost you to send a request but people will compete to find you the best fares in the class you want.

    I just used them this past few days and they found me an amazing fare to the UK in business class.

    Where did you get your $1100 tix from?

    I'm looking at USA West Coast dep 22 Sept 2013. No tix booked yet, but using FlightFox for cheap fares. Seems Hawaiian & Delta ex BNE via HNL = sub$2000.

        You'll have to sign up to find out - no harm done. (Ends in 3 hours)

        Mine comes with a HNL stopover on the way back for R&R,
        but not as good as your $1100 August fare.
