Very bad service and the boss have really bad attitude.
Don't go there to wash ur car, they will scratch it.
Today I went there to wash my car. After the job done, I go back to my car and saw a big scratch on my front door. I talk to the boss, he deny it and yelling at me. He said just call the police he don't care. I call the police and was waiting there for 3 hours, police did not show up.

While I was waiting, one of worker told me that this kind of thing happened a lot before in Zip Hand Car Wash and police never shows up. His boss always get away from it.

So if u don't want to involve in this kind of crap, don't go there wash ur car.

    but your word against his unless you have before and after pics
    report him to fair trading but they will not deal with him as they will fob you off to the CTTT if her refuses to be a good businessman [ethical and moral]

      Yea vote Greens, they will save the planet from the dreaded car wash, which wastes energy and water. And they are working on banning the car so it can't be scratched in the first place….

      The rest of your advice is fairly spot on.

    i just want to let more ppl know zip hand car wash r not honest. If I red any review about this place or anyone told they r not honest, I may avoid this kind of things.

    I am not the 1st and I hope I can be the last.

    I copped the same treatment from Star Car Wash @ Mascot. My solution, buy a gerni and do it myself.

      you dont even need a pressure washer- unless you have a 4wd and use it in the bush.

      washing your own car can be a great 15 min workout! well, provided you dont have spoked wheels

    I always wash my car myself because the primary goal of people at these places is to get cars in and out as quickly as possible. Thus they do a poor job. It's not their fault, they are probably paid peanuts.
    Better to invest in some quality cleaning products and DIY. I find washing and waxing the car quite relaxing actually lol

      I know that's y I don't blame those workers. The boss' attitude really pissed me off. He give me the feeling that he already use to it and give a shit.

    Prove the damage was caused by the carwash? You can't, therefore you don't have any chance with Police/court/cttt.

    Sorry dude, that's why i only wash the car by hand myself

      unfortunately the onus of proof is on you

      what you need to do is to take photos of your car BEFORE you hand it over to anyone else

      and you need high res almost SLR quality shots to show up scratches

      i reckon that car wash is crooked as but you can imagine they get people who try to say they caused a pre existing scratch

        If scratch is small. I don't think ppl want to go thru this much trouble to fix their Paint.
        If it really big, u can't hide it and blame car washers after it.

      Yes, U r right. that's the reason why the owner give shit about customers and told me just call the police he don't care. He knows will get away.

    Try posting your complaint on whirlpool forums as well. They have quite a large readership which gives this a much greater exposure.

    will it buff out or is it showing undercoat/metal?

    Most modern cars have a good enough clear coat to buff most scratches
