  You can use just watch to search for movies on Youtube by price and ability to purchase. For example, here's all movies under $5.

  The annoying part is there's no direct link from there, but you can just search the movie on Youtube's storefront to buy it

    Hi Freefall, Justwatch used to be good but it now throws up too many false negatives. Anyway the point of OzBargain is to post what you find thus this post.
    Ps. I would list them as a one off listings but on Ls they(OzBargain) wont let me…might have to list a few chocolate bars on special at coles to get off my Ls and Ps.

  Why do you want to purchase the rights (for only 5 years) to watch a movie on Youtube?
  It seems a bit strange to me.
  If I want to watch a movie once, I might watch it on a streaming service.
  If I want to watch a movie again and again, I would buy a permanent copy (eg a Blu-ray).

  • Purchased Content. When you purchase an item of content, your content will be stored in a digital locker and you may view it an unlimited number of times for during your Locker Period. The “Locker Period” will be for at least 5 years from the date of your purchase (subject to the restrictions described in the YouTube Paid Service Terms of Service). Each item of purchased content may have a different Locker Period and you agree to the Locker Period before you order it. Pausing, stopping, or rewinding purchased content will not extend the Locker Period. As noted in the YouTube Paid Service Terms of Service, if an item of purchased content becomes unavailable during the five year period from the purchase date, you may request a refund.

    Hi Zathras, I have checked my account for Google TV movies that I have purchased over 10 years ago and they are still there. Also checked the current T&Cs and the mention of 5 years is not there. I understand there is a small risk purchasing online content and streaming might be cheaper or bluray more permanent but currently I'm ok with adding the odd movie to my collection via YT/Google TV.

    Also why? My collection started from the digital codes that used to come with discs. I now purchase occasionally to offload my Google Rewards credit. E.g. I currently have $3.66 credit. I also share with the family and my small business. Some movies/shows are on different services so I might need $40+ a month if I wanted to watch or re-watch a variety of movies. That said I have Prime and access to Netflix that our daughter is paying for.

    Go to GoogleTV or YouTube and search the movie. OZ Bargain doesnt always allow YT links.
