Best Way to Trade in Samsung Phone for an iPhone?

G'day!

I'm planning to switch from my Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 512GB to an iPhone 16 256GB.

The issue is, Apple’s trade-in program only accepts Apple devices, so I’m looking for the best way to get value for my Samsung device before making the switch.

I checked with JB Hi-Fi, and while they do offer trade-ins, the value isn’t great — around $440, and no bonus. For comparison, Samsung themselves are offering $440 plus a $150 bonus if I trade in directly with them.

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? Any tips or suggestions would be helpful!

Cheers!

I used mobile monster to sell a phone earlier this year. Had a great experience and they price match competitors.

    Other sites that buys phones
    https://www.mobileguruaustralia.com.au/
    https://sell.reebelo.com.au/

    Step 1 - FBMP
Step 2 - park handover, at night.
    Step 3 - profit.

Until they reassess it at $1

Try webuyback.com.au. Higher amount and fast payment. Read whirlpool forums for payment delays with mobile monster. If not in Melbourne, I would recommend printing off the label rather than waiting for the satchel to arrive. I sold then an iPhone 12 2 weeks ago and it was a very smooth process.

Ebay isnt terrible for selling, you pay a decent fee but you probably also get the best price. Just use registered post to ensure you can prove you sent it. Also take videos of the phone including serial number so no one can try anything dodgy.

I wouldn't want to sell it on marketplace etc as 90% of messages will be some attempt at scamming you.
