its good to see different flavours starting to appear here in OZ. you travel overseas and the amount of different types they got over there is amazing, pickle and chilli and truffle and it just keeps going… they are amazing.
Was thinking the same thing. After watching The Essential Guide to Chips Vol. 4 video from brutalmoose recently. And seeing how many different flavours they have in America. Compared to only the boring common flavours we get here.

Kettle still the best. But I wish they would go back to the 90s recipe where it was just chilli powder. OG were the best.
I bought Kettle chilli chips recently for the first time in a few years and could hardly taste the chilli. I thought they used to have a reasonable bite. Unless it's my tolerance that has increased but the people I shared with thought the same.
Yeah they are not really chilli anymore. It’s a paprika blend and has been for 15+ years, there is a bit of chilli, but I agree it lacks the bite.
I really miss the old recipe. Had a chilli oil profile and much stronger kick

If you like spice, try the Dorito "Flaming Hot Cheese Supreme". They also seem to have mellowed out a bit, but still got a bit of a kick to them.

The reason why potato chips skyrocketed was because there was a shortage of potatoes last time. So we are still short on potatoes? Use to be $1.70 half price and now $2.50. Thought inflation was like 5%, this does not look like inflation to me.
Pretty sure we've been out of potato recession for a while now. It's now a "cost of living" crisis.
