$32 to get into a swap meet?

    • Follow us on @collectfestau and keep up to date with our exhibitor and festival announcements - we're confident you'll find it worth the ticket price.

  • Damn $40??

Unless I'm blind - how do you have no info on what's happening at the event? What are you paying $160 for that gives you reserved seating? Where is your exhibitor list?

Given the last big collectables event was a rug pull (TRA Con 2024) with many still trying to get money back, I'm sure many would be hesitant to front money 3 months out with minimal event info.

    • My question too

    • Hiya!
We've been dropping exhibitors every couple days on our social accounts, but will have an Exhibitor Directory on the website in the next two weeks.
Prize info and all the other details will be up from Monday.
      :)

    • Just regarding TRA Con concerns, CollectFest is run by Exhibitions & Events Australia, organisers of some of Australia's largest and longest running consumer expos: Home Show and MindBodySpirit Festival. We are utilising existing infrastructure to run CollectFest, and have long term plans (including already booked 2026 dates). We are building this show to be a regular staple in Australia's event calendar, with some major brands already jumping on board to support the show (ebay, Topps, Unlckd, Whatnot to name a couple).
      We aren't going anywhere.

Sure, the lineup looks great - and not suggesting this is like TRA Con (that said I attended 2023 and it was generally fine). Just highlighting a concern around the lack of info given the high ticket prices, I am someone who would purchase the $160 ticket discount or not (I paid $250+ at TRA 2023) and even following you on socials I am still waiting to pull the trigger due to lack of (consolidated) info.

Even some info with a flag that there's more to come would be helpful to actually understand the scale, exhibitors who are confirmed, what panels are happening/confirmed, etc. without having to trawl through 20-30 individual Instagram posts.

No worries - we're consolidating all the info as I type this and updating the website, so most of that will be live from Monday. :)

          • @baldnstinky: Any updates on this? I still can't see event info on the site at all. Holding off purchasing because of it.

            • @Jooniar: Literally just pushed publish on the Exhibitor Directory - this is being updated daily as we receive content from exhibitors, so check back if someone isn't listed that you know is coming along.
Prize and Zone info is under Visit on the main menu.
Experiences will be going up in the next week - just a few details to lock down first.

            • @Jooniar: If there's any info in particular you're chasing, let me know or flick us an email ([email protected]).
Website info takes a bit longer to get updated, but our team can answer any questions straight away.

  • Priority Queueing is included in the $160 weekend pass… … But queueing for what ?

  • There is also Hobby Hangout XL on 1 June in Melb. Are they pretty similar events?

    • Hobby Hangout is predominantly trading cards. CollectFest covers all forms of collectables. MCEC is a larger venue too (CollectFest).
