Came across this rather budget friendly but still decent looking gaming controller, suitable for many applications, found a review writeup on Reddit Which seems rather positive for a controller in this price point.

    I have this. There quirks with the firmware, the version you want to install will depend with what device you plan on primarily using it with. But otherwise it's great.

      i have this same one and the quirks almost entirely occur with the wireless connection, random disconnects etc, plug in and it works fine

          I've been using the same wired Xbox controller on my PC for the last 8yrs and it hasn't skipped a beat (PC gaming on controller around 3 days a week).

            @Logical: Xbox controllers are utter trash, embarrassing quality.
            I have 3 XSX controllers and before that many X1 controllers, they all squeak like they're worth $10

            I bought the gamesir, haven't connected yet but quality is top notch, it's sturdy.

    Thanks OP picked one up. Bargain price compared to what an Xbox Series or PS5 controller costs these days.

    Not expecting the same quality as those, but my PC's game controller is an Xbox One controller from the pre-bluetooth era, so it'll be nice to not have to use a USB dongle.

      Possibly, I myself have used a PS3 controller with my Tesla and it worked, PS5 controller will also work.

      But oddly I tried using an Xbox controller from my series X without any success.

        Correct. Tesla recommends the PS controllers. I also was unsuccessful in connecting my Xbox wireless controller.

    I grabbed the gamesir cyclone 2 for around 30$ on Temu with cashback and 15$ discount for new customer, should still be possible to get that price. The cyclone 2 is a step up from the nova lite so I think it worth it.

      That's insane if you managed to find cyclone 2 for$30. Flash sales during the Valentine's was only $60 so AliExpress. If you' actually got the cyclone 2, that's a crazy bargain.

        Yes, it's the cyclone 2, It appears that gamesir has an official store on Temu. Again I used a coupon and cashback to get that price. Actually it was a 25$ coupon for new customer, not 15$, that brought the price down to 47$ + 40% (16$) cashback from topcashback.
