The Description Text in RSS Feeds Is Now Trimmed. How Can We Know When The Feed Format Is Going to Change?

The RSS feeds are available at /feed (eg. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/feed). The <description> tags now include pre-trimmed text where they used to include the whole description.

This is fine, I just noticed it and wanted to ask how we can know when the feed format will change? Not that we're owed anything, just curious :)

    I have made an announcement on Monday about this change. So far from the bandwidth logs, it saves us around 1-2Mbps around the clock which shows how much RSS feeds on OzBargain have been downloaded.
