    Todays' Cashback rates:

    Cashrewards: 13%
    Shopback: 12% / 13% for Plus users
    Topcashback: 11%
    Citro: 10%

    • I think this one you just have to pay with the card to get the cashback, so potentially you can stack with the other cashback site?

Shop direct. Use your Citro Rewards Card. Get cashback.

I don't have the card, anyone that has the card can confirm?

The rep posted this affiliate link https://link.joincitro.com.au/83VdELxl4Rb which appears to have tracking parameters in the URL required to track your purchase. I believe you won't be able to stack it with Shopback / CR / TCB since you need to go through the Citro app or website to activate the 10% CB.

With Commbank Yello offers and American Express (statement credits), those are stackable as those track using only the merchant information on the transaction and not via browser cookie.

        • That link is to sign up for an account.

"With the Citro Card, you can spend like you would with a debit card and save seamlessly. Whether it's on a holiday, or closer to home, you can use Citro anywhere that accepts a Visa card, online or in-store. Every time you spend at a partner store, you will automatically earn cashback. You can use your earned Citro cashback wherever and whenever you like. It's that seamless and easy!"

This is what it says on the website, nothing about going through an app or website. Just spend using the card and earn cashback. Though info is limited and I don't want to give up my Dad's info for an account to check.

          Can the rep confirm?

Get 10% cashback credited back to your account

Or get 10% basically all year round through promo codes

    E.g. UNiDAYS

You can get a 10% discount on Viator tours and experiences through UNiDAYS, a student discount platform.

If you don't have an edu email account, just use someone else's - your kids, your neighbour, some relative etc. Easy.

    Or

Plenty of 10% off codes via this and similar coupon websites https://couponfollow.com/site/viator.com

    VISHOREX10 currently works

Or as above person said, other cashback sites offer more than 10%, without a membership fee in the future

Sign up for free for the first 12 months (then $1.99/month)

    Back to the drawing board.

Having to pay for worse rates of cashback than known & trusted services (per Scrimshaw) = bad deal.

Narrowing your market to 50+ geezers isn't helpful either.

Neg for the above, and for dodgy affiliate link attempt.

    • Just did some more googling and this is the comment from the ceo:

"Here’s how the program works: Citro members can sign up for access to the rewards card in less than 10 minutes. They receive both a physical and digital (Apple Pay or Google Pay) card, which links to any PayTo-enabled bank account. The card draws funds from that bank account for payments. When that card is used to pay for purchases at participating retailers, you receive a bonus cash-back which is automatically applied to your Citro account for future purchases. "

“We’ve taken the seniors card concept and given it a fresh and modern overhaul by using the latest fintech to provide those approaching and in retirement with access to significant rewards. Customers simply need to tap their Citro card at any participating retailer which accepts Visa and a cashback will be automatically credited to their account.”

It doesn't look like it needs to go through a cashback portal, just need to pay with card, so potentially you can stack with other cashback portals and coupons?

      https://www.startupdaily.net/topic/fintech/fintech-citro-lau…

Looking at the website, they also have big w, ebay & chemist warehouse. It'll be good if they can provide the % without logging in.

      • The cashback statement is not entirely true. Some retail outlets require that you click on a link in the Citro app to get the cashback, ie tracking, there's no tap in store and get cash back offer, it's only available online through the link.

How many people will sign up for this and use it a few times in the first 12 months just for the various cashback offers and then forget it about it and be stuck with the $1.99 a month fee (which will probably increase). Just a crap product. When they're using Denise Drysdale to promote it to the boomers on instagram (which in itself is a warning sign), I'd just steer well clear.
