  • What angle does it sharpen to?

Probably 20 degrees, but it doesn't matter these are junk. Id only use it on a knife that cost less than the sharpener.

      • Agreed, completely trashed one of my knives. A bit of wet and dry 600/1200 grit sandpaper does a far superior job.

      • Totally agree. I've got one of these things that does wonders with my old cheapo knives, but I use them knowing full well they're hacking away at the blade. I'm not a professional, but have a couple of Victorinox knives that I sharpen only on stone, even though I'm not that great at it.

Don't fall for the marketing. Professionals will never use pull sharpeners like this cheap rubbish.
This is misleading shoppers. GTFO of OZB scammer.

    • What is a good sharpener that you would recommend?

      • I like my Toohr #3
Big upgrade from the ruixin that I was using

      • While it does require learning the right technique, it's not difficult at all. Guarantee you will get a pro level sharpness if you spend 30 min learning proper form for various blade types and 30 min practice.
After that you will be able to bring a very dull edge to hair shaving sharp in under 3 min, or touch up in under a min.

There are assisted sharpers that make the process mucher easier, but are far more expensive, and finding the quality stones can be complicated. Cheap replacement stones are generally horrible

If you saw a close up of what these pull through sharpeners do to a knife edge, you would never use them on any blade you like.

  • Seems to be similar to the one at Kmart for $8.50 (which is a little more expensive & only free delivery with Onepass) but might be convenient for some:
