Kogan Credit Card App recently transitioned to a new app and due to technical glitch, I got spammed with kogan SMS. So as compensation they've credited my account with $25 credit.

    Anyone notices that the reference number for repayment has been changed to a MasterCard format? The credit card may be switched to MasterCard soon? I hope it is not part of the technical glitch.

      Thanks for the heads up, I just checked my statement and the bpay reference number has indeed changed to a number starting with 5.

      EDIT: Just sent through $1 to new bpay reference number make sure it is linked correctly and save it in my bpay list.

      thats true and no comm regarding that , so if someone needs to do repayment which reference number would be used??

        I would follow the latest statement - which has the new number.

        I'm sure the old credit card ref number will still work tho.

          The old one still works. I didn't check the actual statement and just made a payment. It was credited (took longer than usual though). Not a good look for Kogan though.

    I'm a secondary cardholder and can't see my account. Apparently there is no fix for this… seems like a bit of a bungle all round

    So if you're entitled to it, you've got it. and you've been told by Kogan you've got it. And if you're not, there's no way you can get it, and there's no point in a thread here telling you.

    Doesn't sound like an OzBargain to me. More like boasting.

      I probably wouldn’t have known about the credit otherwise.

      People miss emails all the time. Just cos someone has it doesn't mean they know they have it. I'm not sure if they've sent emails out to everyone affected. Some people might have it and not received an email. So they know to check their account to see if they have bonus credit.

      It is $25 Credit applied to your kogan.com retail credit account that you can use to shop at Kogan.

    I got the same email but haven't tried to redeem it yet.
    I sill remember getting around 20 SMSs at 6am in the morning and having the card disappear from my Google pay account.

    didn't get any email/notification however i can see the $25 on my Kogan account when i log in (and i have my kogan CC attached etc. and have redeemed Kogan points in the past).

    Didn't get it. Yes I do have the card. No I don't have the credit. Does anyone else get bombarded with subscription emails everytime you have to login to kogan despite turning it all off. Every. Single. Time?

    Have you activated in the email?
    There is a red button at the bottom of the email say activate credit or something

    PSA: If you have a Kogan Credit Card, check your statement before making a payment as they have changed the BPAY reference number.

      The new Customer Reference Number (CRN) and the previous CRN both work, you can pay with either.
