IMHO this is one of the worst tasting oat milk options. The best are the Oatley Barista and Alternative Dairy Co Barista Oat Milk. The Aldi one is OK, but not as good as the Oatley or the Alternative Dairy Co.
I haven't tried too many but I find the better the oat milk tastes, the worse it is for your health. I remember looking at Oatley and the sugar content is too high for for something made with oats. But lots of people don't care which is also fair, it's a small part of the diet anyway.
Yeh just checked and Vitasoy Milky sugar is 0.9g per 100ml, Oatly is 4g per 100ml, which is over 4 times as much. Alternative dairy co is 2g which seems to be about the average for oat milk.
more oats = more nutrition => less oats = more water = less nutrition e.g. less sugar
They were price matching Coles. Probably be 2-3 weeks before it is half price at woolworths followed by coles again. Seems to be the cycle with the milky and soys in the off weeks.
For me, it shows $18 and 16.20 on the right menu, and $23~ on the main page. Clicking Setup Subscribe gives it the $23 price.
Scammed. $2/L is still better than $3.30 but i want that $1.35
