[VIC] Essendon v Port Adelaide 2-for-1 General Admission Tickets $27 - Marvel Stadium, Thursday 27 March 7:30pm @ Ticketmaster

240

Let’s try again with the correct and now working link ;)

Yes, we'll likely lose, hence the offer to get bums on seats, but I have it on good word: there'll be an energetic vibe with a soundtrack to match.

From 5:00pm, club legends Mark Harvey and Dustin Fletcher will be at the Johnnie Walker Bar inside Stadium Square (Gate 3), pouring beers and meeting fans.

I'll be there, go dons!!

Enjoy!

      They can't even fill Marvel

Maybe next time, play the game at the "West Coburg Sports Club"

With more members, facilities and sponsor dollars than most clubs, shouldn't Collingwood have won far more flags in recent years.

Only 3 in 60-70 years feels like a failure. Discuss.

        • Only 3 in 60-70 years

It's 3 in 34 years and have the most grand final wins in the AFL together with Carlton.

          • +2

            @jv: And Essendon…

            • -2

              @HamBoi69:

              And Essendon…

Nope… They have only won a Grand Final 15 times, Collingwood and Carlton 16

                • @HamBoi69: Incorrect.

Essendon did not win the Grand Final in 1924…

                  • +2

                    @jv: Sure.

They just finished undefeated in the finals series…

                    • @HamBoi69:

They just finished undefeated in the finals series…

But did not win a grand final….. So they only have 15 grand final wins…

                      • @jv:

But did not win a grand final…..

You're right, but not according to the rules at that time. The round-robin format was played, and Essendon won, so they were declared premiers, which part am I not getting here?

                        • @HamBoi69:

which part am I not getting here?

The bit where I mentioned earlier:

It's 3 in 34 years and have the most grand final wins in the AFL together with Carlton.

          • @jv:

            AFL

            VFL more like it

If we're including previous leagues, then Port has the most Grand Final wins

            • @beltdrive:

              VFL more like it

Nope, VFL/AFL is the same organisation. Just a name change.

              • @jv: VFL/AFL records are only there for old clubs to feel better about themselves when they've been shit in the professional/national era

                • @beltdrive:

are only there for old clubs to feel better about themselves

It's the same league… Same registered company number. Same board was in place before & after the name change.

                  • +1

@jv: hey, if it makes people happy to brag about wins from before television was invented, so be it

                    • @beltdrive:

hey, if it makes people happy to brag about wins

                      and…

Port has the most Grand Final wins

                      🤣🤣🤣

            • @beltdrive:

If we're including previous leagues, then Port has the most Grand Final wins

Then we'd need to include VFA games…

lose or win I guarantee you nobody cares!

Think there's a fair chance the 80,000+ members and tens of thousands of fans would

  • +4

Give those Kochie players and supporters hell, Dons fans.

  • -6

Wasn't this deleted yesterday so as not to offend the supporters of those teams???

      Hopefully, Essendon does, too.

  • What seats are considered GA?

    • +2

Changes match to match sometimes, not confirmed until game day. Generally level 3, see here, highlighted in dark blue.

      What seats are considered GA?

At Marvel, the nose bleed section or impeded views.

club legends Mark Harvey and Dustin Fletcher

Hope they are not suffering from contusion-concussion dementia yet

  • Should be a cracking game.

  • +2

    Pic looks like underwear lol

  • I think the AFL has reached peak saturation given the number of discounts on offer.

That or Australia is in a recession and can't afford $50 tickets to watch guys run after a red ball.

Or everyone just has (profanity) off big TV's that give you a better experience for less.

    • +2

That or Australia is in a recession and can't afford $50 tickets to watch guys run after a red ball.

Almost 80,000 at the G last Friday.

    • -4

This is Australia. Next-door couple, who both are on the dol, even sell their undies and bras to buy tickets. Their life footy, cricket, rugby, and drinking, sniffing. I gave them a basketball and a soccer ball they threw them back saying they are all round. They are average Ozis.

  • -1

Peptides included in the ticket price or what?

  • -1

They are paying us to watch these two clubs, winning! Oh wait :(

  • +2

and against all odd, Bombers have won this one.
