    Not happy Jan. put in the order and the store cancelled the click and collect order as they didn’t have stock. Because they lied and said we had cancelled it head office couldn’t retrieve the order do we could pick it up elsewhere or get it delivered. Sounds like a pretty Mickey Mouse system really. I can get it for just a few dollars more from Pet Barn, including the cash back, so will just order from them. Just a warning that click and collect might come unstuck with these limited time offers.

        My issue wasn’t so much the store stock levels, the systems should be accurate but sometimes aren’t. It is more that the store lied and closed the order saying we had cancelled. Because of this we couldn’t look at an alternate store or getting it delivered. I worked customer facing for quite a few years and to just get a “computer says no” for something like this is a pretty poor response. I just checked and it is still available for delivery online. Just giving other people the heads up. Maybe select delivery rather than click and collect.
