  I love this game so much, would definitely recommend if you like the old school bioware type games and are open to trying an older game. IMO I feel they play (in terms of story/gameplay) quite well in this day and age even with controller support on my ROG Ally.
  But just like many older games its a pain to get working, ini file changes, updates, xml changes etc. I for some reason have to open it up directly from the install file as the "steam" play doesn't work for me.
  Still though I love the story and its totally worth it to me.

    It's weird, in OzBargain expired deals, I've seen it for $3 and also 75% off so i guess it's regular price has actually gone up.

    I've remembered a fair bit about this game since I posted, its basically medieval Chinese DnD using the same engine and mechanics as the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic games ?
