I picked this up on the recent deal, I went from a china spec 5 year old 27" 1440p VA monitor to this and have no complaints. Colours are a wee bit funky out of the box but can tweak easy enough with OSD (to my level of happiness). USB C PD and KVM have been great for WFH, and the stand itself is actually pretty solid.

Overall I reckon good product for a good price, 3 year warranty too.

    Thanks OP! Ordered one

  • How is the VA ghosting on this? I remember having a VA just a few years ago and it was really bad but I understand how bad it is can vary from VA panel to VA panel.

Also what kind of upsides does the QD provide?

  • Damn.. I just bought an LG for 499 with basically the same specs earlier this week from Jaycar. I thought 'ah it's okay mine has type C' then saw this also does!

    Ah well, c'est la vie

Been looking for a 34" that's good for both WFH and gaming, thanks!

  • is this better than Dell's S3422DWG ? Just searched Dell website and its now discontinued it seems. Not sure which model replaced it. But nothing less than $600.

  • Unsure if i want a 34 or 38 inch and if i wanted va or ips. Too many decisions!

  • How does this compare to the LG 34BP65C-B? https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/monitors/34-inch-and-abo…

Type c is the main difference.

Realistically performance is going to probably be fairly similar.

  • anyone have set up with 2 of these monitors for WFH? Currently I have 2 x 27in monitors, not sure if I can use just one of these to replace the two. Or better to have two of these. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    • 34inch monitor length actually only 1.5 of the 24inch
you can buy one to replace one of the 27 inch tho

    • 2x27 at 2k has more real-estate than one 34"

    • +2

2 x 27" monitors is more real-estate and find it easier to do multiple things at a time. 34" at work I like for doing singular things at a time.
I.e. if Im making a presentation or working in excel the the 34" works best. If I'm doing research, word documents, teams, emails then the 2 x 27" works best.

However it does come down to preference and use case :)

I picked one up, thanks for the deal.

I'm moving from a dell s2716dg from refurb deal ages ago and has done me well.

I have a KVM that I use for my secondary monitor, but hope to use this as the main KVM + second monitor via other KVM to have ability to switch two monitors back and fourth.

Also Picture by Picture is really nice feature to have for same reason of working with two devices at the one time.

    Thanks OP

    • I was undecided about this monitor. Did not see the picture by picture till you commented and now I’m convinced. Just need it to come on sale again.

  • it seemms to be back in stock now… 5:02pm 21/3/25

    • Seems like it's at full price

      • now it is…

  • Anyone know how this compares to it? Seems like a decent deal going by past pricing
