The flight cashback is only applicable to certain flights. Make sure you check the terms and conditions in details.
What certain flights are they? I've read the t&c and it doesn't say.
Flight cashbacks feel so scammy. Like 50% of the cost is taxes which are excluded.
I just booked a return flight. It's actually more. Such a scam
Total Paid: $1255.52
Ticket fare: $473.20
Taxes & fees: $767.32
booking fee: $15So my cash back would only be $473.20 x 0.09 = $42.59
Lol "scam"? What exactly do we want shopback or similar to do here? Companies aren't going to give them any money back based on what they consider taxes & fees.
The issue is with the airlines themselves for calculating the taxes as being that high- and a similar problem with Ticketek and the like. Only when laws are created to force companies to include the majority of the price as the regular fare will it change- and even then the prices will likely stay the same, just that in this very unique case we'd get more cashback.
Just something to be aware of they jacked up most prices this morning which kind of makes the upsized cashback redundant.
