Like who the heck purchases a over priced one litre cleaning solution for $37 bucks. Which appears to be a window cleaning solution (detergent that does not foam or streak)
Yeah the S9's stop randomly as well. They love mounting stuff and just repeating up and down, sliding over the base of a metal pedestal fan and rug munching = robot love.
You might want to check the firmware, surely they should be upgraded when you first purchase them and needs a update, and another update. Or reset the factory settings or contact support for a standard useless response.
If you don't mind not having the voice assistant and only using the app to operate the vacuum. You can regularly get one from aliexpress for $1k. I have bought the X5 and X8 from there and have worked perfectly fine for me
Also be aware the X9 is being released in china next month which means another new one in Australia in august
Do they come with warranty?
I did have a factory issue with one of the mop pad arms on my X5 and I just messaged the seller and they sent out a replacement immediately whilst also offering a slight refund for the inconvenience.
But overall I have never had a proper problem with my units to require anything more than that.

Prices can fluctuate alot but always look around the sellers for the best deal as these units retail for under $1000 AUD direct from ecovacs in china.
Can it still be integrated into HomeAssistant or similar?
Honestly I have never tried, I always just use the ecovac app as I have dogs who shed lots so I usually change my clean program and locations I need cleaned every use
Yes but it uses cloud connector. Buy there was a local version of the cloud center for ecovacs that you could setup too.

Yea postage. Some of the othersellers include the postage in the price. Just keep an eye on aliexpress for the spend $750 get $100 off codes that come up

Considering I own both a spin mop and a roller mop vacuum. I'd never go back to a spin mop vacuum, roller is substantially better
Ecovacs are great when they work. We own two different models, and they always randomly stop in the middle of a clean because they are stuck, the sensors need cleaning, or the house map is corrupted and so its become confused. We had one break outside of warranty and the cost to repair exceeded the value of the item when it was first purchased.
