Tis actually a good deal. Considering there are say, 21 or 22 standard drinks in a bottle of whiskey, lets say you buy a cheap one at $45. Buying 4 packs of these will give you 25 standard drinks and will cost you $48. And you don't have to buy the dry ginger ale. Think I might grab a few.
the maths is right but this is likely fermented sugar water + whiskey flavoured chemicals + cheap mixer.
these budget double shot cans are for kids of no discerning taste who want to preload before a night that likely wont end well.
id prefer a bottle of makers/turkey (~$40 after cashback)
every 3x30ml shots (~$1.70/shot) + a can of coke (~80c) + ice (~free) will yield ~ 2 x 1.5 standard alc vol ~350ml drinks, costing ~$3.00 each
you could make it even cheaper with a bottle of beam and homebrand 1.25L cola/dry from colesworths, gettign towards $2.50 a pop

Haha, thanks. But to be fair, @QuickToThePointless raises some good points above too. I usually avoid premixes completely for the reasons he/she mentioned. I am not sure these would classify as a top notch quality beverage. These are just less of a ripoff than usual.

In true SB style it seems the cashback says 25% on vendor landing page, and in the fine print it explicitly says 0.4% on standard.
