Would this be fine to use on laminated floorboards?
Laminated floorboards do not like water. I have seen hundreds of laminate floors ruined by even tiny amounts of water.
Have one. They are great. Cord is no problem, unless you live in a mansion.
I got this during one of the sales last year.
It is not so great with pet hair so I always run the Vacuum around first but then this is amazing. Just make sure you disable that damn nagging voice that is has.
Floors have never been cleaner and with so little effort.
I have the earlier detergent version and it's great. This is a great price for the steam version. Normally only comes down to $480ish being newer.

I'm assuming issue is foaming.
The cleaning solution is only for the non-steam versions of their mops.
For the steam version, the whole point is to disinfect the floor by hitting it with hot steam.
Steam + floor cleaning solutions may also release fumes, so probably best to avoid that.
Have this one close to a year now, the steam function works a treat! Self cleaning mode is a bonus. Crazy to see how dirty, the dirty water tank is after each mop. Would recommend.

hi all. which one is better this Tineco FLOOR ONE S5 or Dreame h12 pro? I understand the difference is cord wired for the tineco and I don't mind it. Looking something that reliable and easy to use for long term. thanks all.
I have the cordless steam version which is double the price, but I love it. It has cut down the time it takes to vacuum and mop from 1+ hour to 20 minutes. The floors are cleaner due to the dirty water being removed into a tank, rather than bits of it being spread on the floor due to the mop. The steam means you dont need detergent. The down side is that you will need to do a manual deep scrub with tough stains and the edges of tiles, where a mop would do the job.
That's an odd looking vacuum cleaner!
