previously posted for $99.99.

I don't need this. maybe someone does.

apparently lightweight and compact for a 100W charger but still seems like it sticks out a lot. I have the 65W Nano I use it vertically plugged into a powerboard so no issues with it wiggling loose over time.

That comment is a bit stiff….

These deals keep showing up on my news feed…

        • you can't block W Anker?

I guess posts need to use affiliate links somehow.. 🙃

ok I was wrong, usually the link gets replaced with affliate (happened on binglee post soon after posting) but this W Anker deal does not get an affiliate link?? 🤔

hmm something sus going on I guess they get special treatment because they get posted so often?

        • Not as frequent as your daily bundle of comments though…

    • Watt's wrong with that?

      • -2

Did I say there was something wrong?

      • I think got something to do with Anker. not trying to steam up the bushes but I expected a comment from jv over on the iVanky post, but all I got was crickets. 🤔

  • Why is it so damn hard to find PPS info for Anker charger

    • I was going to give you a tip on how to find it, but weirdly I cannot find the PPS info either.

usually anker pdf's from a different country have the missing info, such as this one from japan. https://lp.ankerjapan.com/hubfs/aoos/manual/A2688QSG.pdf

but there is no PPS info there. I have to assume it doesn't do PPS??

finding some weird info now. so charger in deal is A2688.
this post includes A2688 (read the points under "To my surprise"). https://www.reddit.com/r/GooglePixel/comments/1gxsm53/differ…

they say depending on when the stock was made, with serial number I assume only able to be found on the box, old ones do 11V PPS newer ones do 21V PPS.

I'm assuming maybe ankerdirect themselves have no idea what stock they have in the amazon warehouse, so they just prefer to not include any PPS info on the page. weird.

      • What is this PPS thingy? Why it's so crucial?

        • +1

it's for samsung and google phones to fast charge at their fastest charging speed. they use PPS.

usually referred to as "Super Fast Charging".

Normal USB-C PD charging is a fixed Voltage (V) like 9V, and the Amps (A) goes up and down during charge like 3A->1A etc.

PPS is basically a mode which uses fixed Amps (A) such as 5A, and the Voltage (V) is what goes up and down, usually PPS spec will say something like 3.3-21V.
if it's an older or lower spec charger, you will only see something like 3.3-11V, which is the issue the other user is having.

          • @n3ck3ntry8bort0rgasm: So in short, if the charger doesn't support PPS, it won't Fast Charge Samsung & Google phones?

Or PPS have different modes and the PPS of charger & your phone must match to support fast charging?

            • +1

@ChipsChicky: it depends on the phone. but in general yes you want the max PPS spec (21V at the top end) to get the fastest possible charge on Samsung or Google phone.

if you plug either phone into a PD charger with no PPS or low spec PPS, it will still charge normally at decent speed, it just won't be charging at the fastest possible speed.

      • It doesn't give me confidence to buy this product without such info. In fact I recently bought a Ugreen 65W as they are a lot more upfront on PPS specs.

  • It is selling around AU$40 in Chinese website. What a scam, what a inflation in AU.
