Shout out to @happydude, who knew coupons still stacked?

    Was $14.99 last month.

    • +2

      I got it for $10.49 on 14 October 2023

      • +1

The lowest for me that I had a chance to buy was $12.49, I really didn't need one though.

        • +9

Handy tip: Since none of us can afford electricity anymore, buy up on these power banks, charge at public powerpoints and cancel your service at home. Thank me later.

        • +8

Yes, let's blame Albo for everything that happened in the 10 years before he was elected, and for the costs of inflation INTERNATIONALLY………….. What else should we shift the blame on to Albo for? jv?

          • +1

@Aus Falcon: We should thank him for beating ScuMo at the polls. ScoMo was somehow the better choice than Dutton at the time so that says a lot about Dutton.

          • -1

            @Aus Falcon:

Yes, let's blame Albo for everything

Just the things that have happened under his rule…

          • -2

            @Aus Falcon:

and for the costs of inflation INTERNATIONALLY

The cost of our energy and food produced domestically has minimal international impact… It has to do with government polcies.

            • +1

@jv: You're right Albo has clearly legislated colesworths aggressive profiteering

              • -2

                @sackrace:

                colesworths aggressive profiteering

                share price less than 2021…

                • @jv: Their PnLs show increased margins, from lower COGS and higher revenue. I worked in the sector recently. Every supplier is getting price pressure from them and they're aggressively integrating their supply chain where ever they can. Only fuel and freight inflation is really going against them and that's everywhere not just FMCG.

Quoting share price when the data is readily available just highlights you're talking out your ass.

                  • @sackrace:

very supplier is getting price pressure from them

That has been happening for decades. Do you live under a rock?

                  • @sackrace:

just highlights you're talking out your ass.

It actually highlights how a business is performing compared to their competion taking into account all external factors as well as internal ones.
Read up a bit on trading… It is a very interesting topic…

                    • @jv: We're talking about the sector though, they're tracked relatively similarly with about 10 percent difference in Cole's favour. You haven't actually made a point here.

Their PnLs literally detail the costs and revenues you don't have to get a degree in share trading to understand it, which by the way I have.

                      • @sackrace:

which by the way I have.

                        LOL…

                        So do others here…..

        • Yeah, like he printed all that money during covid.

          • -1

@bio: He printed all the money in the last 3 years…

          • @bio: Covid-19 conspiracy theories range from plausible to ridiculous….whatever you believe.

In time of UN-certainty, Aust. Govt ordered in-ADVANCE a few different BRAND of vaccine before any PREMINARY clinical-trials results were published. SOME-vaccine failed & were thrown-away. Interesting to note that Dept. Executives blames the Govt. for their decision, but those SAME Executives advised the Govt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=JbdKL3V62Ro

Even with approved vaccine, we know MANY who had it STILL got covid-19: hello !…'95% effective in preventing Covid-19', https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2034577
Read carefully, those who carried out the clinical-trials were Pfizer-staff: 'employee and holds stock'😱

            In hindsight, we're all genius!

  • Great price, my favourite of the budget power banks. Quite light, charges fast and doesn't really overheat in my experience.

  • Thanks I wonder how long it will last for this time (the coupon)

    • +2

Probably won't last long (the coupon)

      That's what she said

  • Perfect timing, as my other one died. Tyvm OP.

      as my other one died.

      Is that good ??

      • It happens. I have a few others that are still fine.

        • is it still under warranty?

          • +1

@jv: Yes, returned to Amazon for a refund.

  • Ty OP 🙏

If you buy 2, the 15% will apply on the first and 30% will apply on both. Ended up roughly $38 for both. Otherwise they are 1 time use coupons.

  • Everything is double the price or at least 70% more expensive even on sale compared to pre covid, did anyone's wage rise 2 x doing the same job in 5 years?

    • +4

Sir, this is OzBargain, not Parliament House.

      • Bitcoin mooned.

        • pffft Mooned? You're dreaming. Since the 2017 bull run where it went about 20x it's previous all time high, Bitcoin has been far from the moon! This latest bull market hasn't even doubled the price from the previous all time high years ago and it look's like it's turning bearish again for another couple of years..

          • @Tythefly86: You need to keep buying Bitcoin at $175k for the price to keep going up.

            • +1

@Dollar Dreamer: Keep buying? Haha that was the time to sell! I haven't bought anything significant since covid. It's people like you that keep talking about it mooning that pump early adopter bags like mine lol. Bitcoin is basically a ponzi and it sounds like you're late to the game.

              • @Tythefly86: But I was told in 2016 we going to the moon and Bitcoin going $1 meelion dolla?

    • Should everyone deserve a pay rise due to US tariffs and China trade cuts?

  • Expired for me.

      • Monthly power-bank deals < $20 for 10000mAh-> https://www.ozbargain.com.au/tag/power-bank

Considerations for LESS-known brand power-bank: desperate & attract by BIGGER-discount,
        1.do research.
2.Max. claimed Wattage ( Ampere x Volt) should be TWICE that your phone ACTUALLY-draw: confirmed by battery-charging-APP, eg AccuBattery.
3.Amazon-AU likely give you recourse if fail compare to ebay, AliExpress, Temu etc…pls DON'T scam Amazon-AU.

  • Missed it 😞

    • Yes, you did. 😞

      • Me 2!

Cheap brand can cause a fire…

    • Every battery can cause fire…

  • If convenience is more important than longevity, pls move-on.

Longevity power-bank: targeting say 25% to 75% battery-level, ie use-up 50% of battery-capacity? Care for the li-ion power-bank just like the battery of your mobile-phone?

    Target charging your 5000mAh mobile-phone from 0% to 100% once, allowing for efficiency-loss (power-bank & mobile-phone) & longevity of power-bank as per above.
Referencing '0% to 100% once' comments: ideally split the charging of 5000mAh mobile-phone TWICE, say 25% to 75% mobile-phone battery-level?
