  • That is a lot of cashola. Anyone using anything like this for fruit juice? Just curious how good it is/is it worth it.

Should I buy this or 266 7/11 Slurpees?

    • +1

I would go for this if you want to make alcoholic slurpees.

      • 7/11 slurpee
        BYO booze

      • I can't drink so go figure lol?

Anyways out of all the cold desserts, slurpees just ain't it for me. They're good but never beat ice-cream unless you're thirsty.

Can it make a vodka slushie ?

    • +1

      Yes and beer slushies too

      • I prefer beer milkshakes.

        • +6

I've heard your beer milkshake brings all the boys to the yard

Manual says max 16% alcohol, so you'd have to mix it

      • +1

I think the Ninja is also 16% :\

  • How long would it take to freeze say a hard rated or similar alcoholic beverage?

    • +1

      15-20 mins I believe

No deal IMO. Is $100 cheaper than the Ninja but this is the release price.. I think it is fudged RRP as usual.. was released/advertised on the 26th of Feb for this price so has never been "RRP" as far as I can tell.

  • My Ninja Slushi arrived last week and let me tell you I will never ever get bored of using it. Its fantastic! So far we have had frozen fizzy ones, frozen juice ones and plain old cordial and water. Every single one has been delicious. They make enough for all 5 of us with some left over, its so simple to use and clean too. I would pay the extra and get the Ninja offset by cashback.

    • It'll be interesting to see comparisons as they appear very similar.
There's a Brisbane Mum blogger who apparently will be doing a side by side review.

      • They are counting Auto clean as a mode.
