Well if i order $40 of food, but it only costs me $22 then someone has to pay the $18, its not the driver or the shop. So uber is out $18.
@jv: In fact it does: since uber is out of $18, they'll be compelled to take a larger cut from delivery fees to recoup their "losses".

I got the doordash one with the Prime discount but it kinda equals out cause I bought 3x cases of sparkling water and it's a dick move not to tip for an order like that. Still, he got a tip and I broke even. Happy days.
