I actually gave one of mine away to someone who couldn't get a torch during Alfred. Ordered another to replace it :)
The $7 coupon is there so you can buy something else. You could buy another torch (or anything else for that matter) in a different colour and use the $7.
Edit: They have rechargeable AA batteries now. You could get 8AA batteries for about $11. I don't know how good they are though. I imagine they should be at least OK.
Do you have to do the "sign in 9 days" to get it?
The sign in stuff is to get extra stuff. The coupon is only available to use in the app. You should be able to see in on your member page under Asset Centre.
Does that mean it rules out cashback? I've never tried to do cashback on my phone before.
These are selling for $11 on Amazon, so I guess this is a deal if you're looking for this specific torch.
