In fairness, I misread the instructions. The design actually looks better than others. As long as a single press turns it on and off I'm happy. The worst are the ones that start strobing when you are trying to turn them off.
Don't you hate it when you want to turn off your torch to remain discreet but it decides to start a disco party?

According to https://zeroair.org/2022/11/02/sofirn-sc18-flashlight-review/, the actual Lumens measured is about 1453 or 80.7% of the claimed 1800 Lumens, so not as bad as you'd think.
Yes a have a couple of SC31pros and I’ll probably grab a couple for family too when they come up on sale .
The belt clip alone is worth the upgrade ,
but prices have crept up and up so the fam will have to get lucky.
Also might grab a if22a if they ever come up for sale again.
Was picking up the 31 for $25 and 22 for $30 from aliexpress and it was just a no brainer at those prices.
At $40-45 and up now it’s getting up there .
Who’s got a link to a seller in shenzen or chongching where we can get these direct .

I have a couple of Sofirn torches. Quite bright. They only can operate at max lumens for a couple of minutes, but you learn how to conserve energy by switching between max and a lower level.
maybe. it's a no-name. Sofirn is well known for their torches /lights and are excellent quality for the price.
But sometimes you find that diamond in the rough.

Omg, these torches have the worst interface. The best one I own doesn't strobe. It dims/brightens with a long press and short press turns it on and off. When it turns on it returns to the last brightness state. Perfect.
