Any one got this? How is this?

    • +8

I have it. Works just fine and very good value for money

      • For how long you have it and how's the mapping?

        • +5

Mapping is pretty good. It follows any restrictions to areas you give it and recognises where rooms are based on the doors so you can set areas to be mopped or vacuumed individually. I've had mine since November of 2023.

          • @Vavoom: how fine can you tune the restrictions? I've got a small area in the kitchen I'd like for it to avoid because it has the dog food and water dish. I don't want it bumping them due to spillages

            • +1

@Kholtien: The sweeping and mop restrictions on the map are very easy to set up. You basically add a resizable square/rectangle shape to the map and place it where you need. I have done this for "No Mop" zones and it works flawlessly.
Owned my SL60D for 1 year now.

            • @Kholtien: I have done this exact thing around my dogs water / food with this machine. Works great. Main reason i got mine was to keep on top of the dog hair.
              Great value for this machine.

            • @Kholtien: Obstacle avoidance is good. It won't try and barge over objects, when the front bumper encounters something not detected on Lidar it just goes around it. I try to keep my floors clean but invariably the kids leave crap lying around, and it's not an issue for either of my SL60Ds.

            • @Kholtien: I dont have the same one but typically, you can set restricted zones for the robots to avoid.

I set them up for areas where I have cables / wires on the ground too - say near a powerboard.

        • +2

Have it for around an year. Mapping is good. However i had to reset the map 3-4 times during the last year as it messes up the entire map after every few months. But at this price its great value

        • +4

Mapping is fine if you spend time to set it up. For the first discovery run, my tips for a neat map are:
          - move as much off the floor as possible
          - check if vac will be able to roll under things like beds or sofas - I ended up buying 1” bed risers to make sure the vac cleaned under bed which was previously always visibly covered in hair and dust
          - for my sanity I spent the time to get it to map one room at a time, adding a room on each subsequent run. Decided to do it this way after my initial ‘just let it explore’ method which resulted in a very messy map
          - close all doors and cover (eg with cardboard) the base of any glass doors or windows
note this is just for the first run where it’s building the map
          - after each successful run, use Restricted Area Edit to block off places you don’t want the vac to go - for example, behind any doors or windows you had closed, or any areas you want it to avoid
          - make sure you save the map after every successful run, until you’ve covered every room. Et voila, neat map

        • Have it for almost a year now. Works really well.

      • Is it noisy?

        • +4

Its a vaccum cleaner. Has to be

    • +2

It’s fine. I’ve said it before, but the mopping water tank is very small.

    • +6

Owned it for 18 months. Another “it’s fine”, but like that it works well in dumb mode

We don’t use the mop, have the app/let it connect to the internet or set any mapping - just press the button and it vacuums.

    • Had mine for over a year. It's pretty good.

Got the vacuum station as an upgrade, but that only works about half the time. I have thick pet hair in the house and unless I run this every day, it just gets too thick in the mobile vacuum's collector and can't suck it out into the station once it's finished.

Other than that, it's hard to fault. I lost a bit of the roller brush (my fault) when I was cleaning it and had to order a replacement. Initially ordered off the lubluelu store and it didn't come. Ended up ordering off a third party on ebay which showed up in about a week. Then about 6 months later, the brush I ordered off the official store finally showed up.

    • Had ours for about 4 months. Works great. Bought the optional auto-empty bin too.

    • +1

I bought one last week for $200 lol, Its been good so far, I do find it sometimes wouldn't get as close to the wall in some areas as I'd like so not sure if that's a setting or something. Easy enough to work out the app's room mapping and scheduling. I have it set to vacuum at like 2am twice a week. I got the mop version, so dust collector is kind a small, so keep that in mind. Mine has had no issues docking itself.

The mopping wasn't too bad, all it does is drag a wet rag over your floor so really only good for a basic mop of your floor through the week but you'll probably want to do a proper mop every now and then. Also you can only mop with water, says detergent will damage it.

    • I bought this a less than a fortnight ago to replace a dodgy 1 month old Mova E20. So far so good. It can run off the Tuya app if you already have the app controlling smart lights and things.

  • Must be time for a new model, isn't this like 4 years old now?

  • +2

I used this for a few years. It was great but recently upgraded to a proper robot vacuum. There is a big difference. Biggest differences for me are are that the roller doesn't get jammed with dog hair, Night and day with obstacle avoidance and mopping actually works. This thing is pretty basic and generally relies on bumping into things. It did the job though with extra help.

    Great first robot really

    • What did you upgrade to? Any cons with that one?

      • L10s pro ultra heat. I love it. Might get a second one for a different level. Little taller than the old one so it doesn't get under a few pieces of furniture that this one used to

        • +2

At more than 9x the price it would want to be better.

          • @Ham Dragon: Yes, hence why I bought it. I struggled to justify this increase but for me, it was worth 20x as much as the basic one

    • +3

I disagree that it relies on bumping into things. I find it has decent obstacle avoidance, and whilst it does still bump into things, it's nothing like some of the other ones I've seen. I'm not sure what you mean by it needing extra help, but so long as I don't leave any electrical cables on the ground and clear out the brush periodically it runs perfectly for me 5 days a week.

      • I thought the same until I got a new one. Sure it doesn't bump into everything but my new ones bumps into nothing and also avoids obstacles below the lidar

    • Can the more expensive models to a better job at getting into corners? That's one issue I find with the lublueblu, but I don't know that a more expensive model could do a better job.

      • the swing arm ones to do corners better. They are not perfect either though.

  • +3

Love mine - fully autonomous with the self empty bin. I'm sure if you spend more you'll get a better vacuum, but this is a great first option.

  • +1

Got it a few months ago. Had a roborock s5 before. This is not as good, doesn't clean well, claimed siction is twice as much as the s5 but doesn't clean the carpet as well, i can see dirt still on carpet.
Battery life is also on the lower end. Might be OK for a apartment.

  • +2

This is a great robot vaccum. I run it in midweek and once on weekends with mop function. Does clean 95%. Sometimes throw things away n its path. I have vaccumed using dyson with laser head and i can notice very less dust on the floor.

Mopping is obviously slow but does a decent job. Removes smudges but not dried or hard stains on the floor. Water tank size is ok and it doesnt stop water once it is filled. So make sure dont use it on carpet while water in it and make sure to empty it otherwise it will continue to leak.

I love it, looking for their big upgrade. Also I wish I can tell it viabgoogle to clean specific room.

This is toy-like (ie. very small bin, short roller, small chute that can clog). Compared to an older Dreame F9, this will not go under sofas, whereas the F9 will. Mapping is inferior to non-lidar F9. A regretful purchase for me.

    • +1

Sounds like you don't have the auto empty dock? You should grab another dust bin that doesn't have the water reservoir - it will triple the capacity.

    • +3

I have this model and it goes under my sofas without any issue. Maybe your sofas are too low for it to get under?

      • +1

There is plenty of clearance. Perhaps it does not like the dark. Anyway, it's not for me. Glad you've had a better experience.

        • Mine also gets under a table where it really only has a couple of mm clearance.

          • @Hinee: Yep mine also gets under the bedside tables where it looks like it would have no clearance.

One time it went missing and I came to realize it got stuck on some dog toy that was under the couch and needed to be rescued.

Overall I'm super happy with this product and just bought the auto empty dock off of Temu when it was doing a 40% cashback.

            • +1

@rightguy: Mine cleans under the bed with barely any clearance, even in complete darkness

        • Lol. May be its scared of the dark

        • Mine runs at 2am in pitch black darkness with no issues.

  • Wouldn't recommend.

Had issues docking continuously. Support couldn't solve it. I saw others with the same issue.

It's problematic because it'll do a clean, then fail to return to the base. Eventually will turn its self off. You're non the wiser. You come to do a clean and the items offline. Especially bad if you're away and want it to do a clean before you come back.

    • remove the mop pad and it will fix this.
I gave up using the mop.

With the auto empty base unit.
We keep ~250m ground floor clean.
With a toddler and lots of poeople. vacuuming the dining and kithen areas 2x daily
and the rest of the ground floor in sections every 2 days.
it gets a hard workout.. and its awesome.

Yes, you have to clear long hair off the brush, and manually empty the dust/hepa filter.. but the floors are clean!

we take it upstairs every week to do another clean.

      its cheap!
      and its mapping is excellent.
you can save 5 maps, so if it gets corrupted you just reload it.

      • +1

Never had the mop pad on it, thus this wasn't/isn't the problem. I also had the auto-empty base.

    • -1

Your floor won't get dirty if you're not there.

      • Cat litter tracking.

  • +1

This is genuinely an awesome price for what you get, but this unit has the drawbacks you'd expect given the pricing. It needs to be emptied pretty constantly and for carpeted areas you'll often have to run it 3-4 times over the area to get really good results. It can also struggle to find home base, and in some cases it'll go wandering off to the wrong room like a drunken houseguest.

The app is pretty mediocre too. The map sometimes just deletes which is a pain if you're not just using smart clean, or if you have restriction zones. Swapping between cleaning modes for mopping (to set it to V clean) seems to need to be done every time I send it out since the newer firmware (which seemed to generally make the experience worse all up).

Again, for $179 which is about what I paid on the last sale, this thing absolutely slaps. But, if you expect it to perform like one of the $600-1000 units, you need to get a bit real.

    • wandering off to the wrong room like a drunken houseguest.

      This made me lol 😂

  • Thoughts on this for solely using on an outdoor deck?
I've got a Roborock S7+ for indoor use but be keen to get something, mainly for mopping, the deck area reguarly

  • +1

I haven't used any other brand of robo vacuums, but I was very pleasantly surprised with how good this thing is for $180. I run it a couple of times a week and never really think about having to vacuum.

also Parts and bags are available on aliexpress for cheap.

  • It’s better than nothing. Been using it for couple of years. Can’t really complain. It’s noisy though

  • Is the next model up with 4500Pa (instead of 4000 Pa) worth it for $50 more?

    • +2

The 4500Pa one, I believe you're referring to the SL68, which only has one spinny/sweeper.

Whereas the SL60D has two spinny/sweepers. I have this SL60D and prefer the extra sweeping coverage over the extra suction. Even with 4000Pa, it seems to work well for my home with 50/50 tile/carpet. Not sure how much better the 500pa would pull, but for me 4000Pa is sufficient.

  • Wtf is a Lubluelu

    • lol I was thinking the same.

    • Roborock isn't much better a name.
EUFI, Dreame, Deebot - are they really any more descriptive?

  • -6

Rubbish, toy-like compared to my new Eufy C20.

Can someone help me with this shoe cabinet that I have with its bottom just fit the vacuum's body, but not the head (the radar/eye?) you guessed it, for some reason it always stuck there, always trying to reach the wall behind that cabinet. In out in out (stuck at head), slide south 2cm, in out in out, slide north 2cm, in out in out, slide south again…

    • +5

Of course a $169 vacuum is not going to match a $1000 vacuum.

People buy these vacuums because in a few years your $1000 vacuum is going to be worth $400 because of the huge premium you paid for having the latest tech.

    • +1

stuck there, always trying to reach the wall behind that cabinet. In out in out (stuck at head), slide south 2cm, in out in out, slide north 2cm, in out in out, slide south again

There’s a Restricted Area Edit function for stuff like this. Works well

  • How do I put in the code for $169? Its showing up as 199 now for te white one.

    • At checkout there's a use code option

      • Codes don't seem to work?

        • I just bought it literally 30 seconds ago, the white one. Worked fine for me :(

  • Did you buy on the app?

  • I bought and returned this after a few weeks. It vacuums ok, mop function is terrible. The tank is tiny, couldn’t even complete a kitchen mop.

We have a fairly large house, this machine never managed to complete a whole house clean without some sort of interaction from us. It would get lost returning to base, get stuck under low furniture or lose its mapping.

I think for a 2br apartment it may be ok, but can’t deal with kids debris or more than 10sqm of mopping.

    It is cheap though.

  • +2

I got it for $150 with the dock on Temu.
Runs every day for 70min (~100m2)
    Best purchase ever.
It occasionally get stuck and dies, or loses one roller brush but keeps going.
Mopping works fine, considering it's pretty much hands off. Water tank is tiny though.
    For the price no brainer.

    • Is it $150 after cashback?

      • +1

Yes, shopback. Bought 24/01, already approved, apparently 51days early

        • Nice! Through which cashback platform and where did you buy it from - I assume it'd be Temu? I'm thinking about doing the same but have not decided which platform I will use.

  • My machine is good when it works. Does need a reset a dozen times in quick succession then works for 6 months no probs.

Only gripe is that the contacts on the dustbin have degraded and cracked so the mop function wont work. But robot mopping is pretty erumgherk anyway.

  • If you are on budget and has no robo vacuum yet i guess you can consider it. But its still no match to my trusted good old roborock s5

My first one has a faulty radar thing which was replaced within a year, the second unit front wheel fall off and unable to be put back on the second year.

Luckily got it from Amazon so i can get a refund

  • +1

I’ve one with the older firmware and I refuse to update. The reason is I can connect it it via Bluetooth and play music from it as it cleans :)

    • Also it’s worked brilliantly for well over a year now, I bought the dock recently which is a neat addition too.

Replacement brushes are super cheap online

    • That sounds like an awesome feature!

  • How does this go with carpet? my apartment is like 90% carpet..

  • Anybody have the eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S (Slim)?
It's also on sale for $159.99 (54% off) not sure which one to get
