How do you find Flint 2 stability? On the fence between this router or save $150 and get flint
Never had any issues. I believe they had teething issues with firmware when they first released, but rock solid stable. I've had it running for 6 months without needing a reboot or any dropouts.
Been using the Flint 2 since before it was first released (I beta tested it). It's my main router at home and I love it. Rock solid, and all the Gl.inet/OpenWrt features are amazing.
Looks like AU stock, so no issues with the radio power being turned down because it's an EU model. Although I have two EU versions of this and the coverage, speed and range are excellent. Rock solid and very easy to setup as an AI Mesh network. I know there will be some haters saying it's not WiFi 7 but personally I don't think it's worth the premium to go to a WiFi 7 router at the moment.
I see the price, but there is no option to add to the shopping cart at the $359 pricing?
OOS.
Pretty good deal. I used to be a fan of Asus routers and Merlin, but they've long been pricing them out of my range for a while now. Got rid of my last two end-of-life Asus routers (running in AiMesh) recently, and switched to GL.iNet Flint 2 when it was on sale recently which provides great wireless coverage and functionality.
