I was perusing Amazon's Big Smile Sale Deal, and saw WoW Dragonflight Collector's Edition heavily discounted. This will not give you access to the latest expansion.

It has the following goodies:

  Dragonflight content is available free for any subscriber as its old content now.

  You’d buy this if you were interested specifically in the mount/pet/transmogs, and the physical stuff in the box.

  You’d want to research if the DF character level boost is still valid as those aren’t good forever once the expansion is superseded by new content.

    I was very tempted to buy this.

    I still have the sealed CE from Burning Crusade to Warlords of Draenor. Gave up on WoW during Shadowlands when my PC finally died.

      Shadowlands was a tough one. The expansions have gotten much better since then.

      FWIW if you wanted to try Dragonflight, I believe it’s the default new player experience now, which would mean you can use a free account to level to 20 and take a look around.
