Was looking for Japanese eSims from eSim DB, and this provider seems to be the cheapest. Reviews seem alright but small number of reviews so be wary. Got a 20 GB eSim for Japan for ~$15.
Code received from their WhatsApp CS rep, mentioned unlimited use till March 20. They have an app too, but haven't tried it.

okay so just used these guys for a trip in NZ.
eSIM was ready to install straight after payment
once arrived in NZ, it connected, although speeds are abismal less than 100-200 kbps and connections appear to going via Hong Kong.

okay update, whatsapp support finally responded. apparently issue with "upstream provider", initially refused refund due to already activated, but pushed the issue and got a full refund.
really not sure how the slow speed came to be. had two eSIMs on different iPhones, and speed fixed when i started using Simify.
If i got the full speed for the price I would try them again.
Thanks, bought Japan 30 day, 20GB esim for $15ish. Arrived in my email almost instantly. Now just hope speeds are ok, though it does say it connects to NTT so should be ok…
