ATL according to the camel. Pink only on sale. Woolies used to have sonicare on half price at $30 but they stopped selling sonicare. I'm sure it won't be $30 with inflation anyways. So this should be a good deal.

I buy only cheap ones. Are the expensive ones any better?
I'd be interested to know too. I bought my Oral B one on sale (~$30) about 2 years ago and it worked great until it mysteriously disappeared when I arrived at my destination on a trip.
I imagine the extra $ would go towards better battery life and reminders to change zones every 30s or so. But would be keen to hear what else I'm missing out on by buying the cheaper ones.
I had a quick look after you linked this deal. I think the cheaper ones under a certain model number have weaker internals. Then once you get past that model the rest upwards all have the same internals.
I think the change over happens around the 4 or 5 model series (This is 2100)
Are the expensive ones any better?
Used to buy the top of the range - same issue - the silicone seal is disintegrating around 2 years mark, water gets in and the whole thing is failing.
Apart from the change zone reminder, expensive ones have over pressure alert.
Possible bootleg?
Real stuff. Bought them before.
I just returned mine bought frm costco. Less than 1 year. It comes a pair. One broke. The motor went weird. I thought the quality of sonicare is better than oral b. It looks more premium. I had many oral b ones. Only issue was battery but thats fair.
I had a few top of the line Sonicare, but they all failed within 1-2 years.
