Pretty well regarding fork, this is for the 29" 180mm travel model, though travel is user adjustable from 140-180mm. Cheapest others I can find that are available are $1130 at Pushys.

Well I bought a used rockshox lyrik on the weekend, but that needs a shorter air spring, so I figured I may as well buy this instead 😂. You got a bike yet? I know a great guy that has a lyrik for sale.
Well I do like a good fork….
and for that price, i'd hope that you'd forking get a good fork
What is this for?
s one of the things that if you have to ask that, you don't need it.
front forks, that hold the front wheels, of a mountain bikeHelps you eat dinner better. $500 better.
Tapered are always problematic. I only ever get the untapered version.
Can you elaborate on this? Genuine question, as I understand frames are pretty much all built for tapered forks now.
I was being an idiot. I actually had no idea what part was tapered.
This is an outrageously good price for a phenomenal fork. Two air chambers means you have heaps of adjustability with no tokens needed, and it's a beefy chassis, similar to Fox 38/Zeb in strength.
If you need a new fork this is the one to get. If have a tiny bit of know how you can adjust the travel yourself as well.

Cheers, all sold out. Cane creek helm still available if anyone is interested.
You're getting right back into this MTB scene aren't you? Good stuff.
