99c for this new release not available to stream anywhere else.
can't find the source but remember this getting pretty poor reviews, but it's a remake apparently so 99c might be worth it to those of you who watched the original just for the nostalgia and comparison.
what did you hear about it.
I remember it being shxt on pretty bad as well, but can't remember the specifics.

Looks quite low to waste your time, even at $0.99
I wanted details about what's wrong with it. I read a good article about this movie many months ago but forgotten everything.
for example movies that do terrible usually:
small animal gets killed in the first 3 mins.
extremely woke with hints towards edge topics such as human trafficking, genocide, misanthropy and misogyny.
doesn't follow the same story and details as the original the remake is based on.
characters get random extra super power with no explanation and no relation to the original.
and almost forgot, man gets his bong nailed to the cabin floor by a woman. moaning terrible pain. <—- in this movie during first ever viewing/premiere 80% of the audience walked out of the theatre in the first 30 mins. so they missed that part. 😂

funny thing is some people's opinions are that these "terrible" movies are actually masterpieces and some of the best movies ever made. subjective so yeah.
here are some examples. Madame web, Antichrist, mostly everything shocking by A24 (e.g. Men, Resurrection).
The trailer is an immediate red flag to avoid this. It is an absolute abomination.
tbh I don't think I've actually seen the trailer. will watch and get back to you tomorrow.
