Probably the right price.Probably my most disliked watches in my collection. Huge downgrade spec wise from its predecessor (the SKX). And they feel so cheap in hand. The bezel action is mush . The bracelet is awful (hollow end links, pressed metal, jangles constantly). Alignment issues on every copy I have. Only positive I can think of is there’s some great colours available.
Honestly, save just a smidge more for a Prospex. It’s a whole different class of watch, and has been had for $300 to $350 in past deals.
Yeah I've never been a fan of Seiko 5s, a bit too entry level, too many different styles and variants.
I did get the field GMT for $340 it's a lot better.
Just have to know which Seikos to buy. Not just everything and anything.
seiko is a hard sell that's for sure
the minimum i'd spend is the alpinist sbp117 which is stranglely what i'm wearing now
Yeah I got a few nicer ones like the 62 mas and the dollar. Some of these other ones are fine for the reduced price.
I have parted ways with most of my seikos. Bulova and Timex interest me the most these days.
I like the style but prefer to pay more for sapphire glass particularly with black dial
