Nice I don’t have to go to JBHIFI

Personally I prefer to support an underdog here compared to Amazon. Seems like the lesser of the two evils

I bought one of these a month ago (paid $10 by the way).
Since it's Bluetooth it will not wake my lounge PC out of sleep, so I have to stand up and walk across the room from the couch. Like its the 1970s.
Unless there's a bios setting or somesuch I haven't found.

Such travesty… not sure how you can live with yourself

    • First world problem!!!

    • I have the same problem with my PC. Using bluetooth mouse and keyboard. The power button is in a really hard-to-reach spot due to the layout of my room, so it's pretty inconvenient to have to press it every time the PC goes to sleep. Don't seem to have the same problem with my Mac.

If running Windows try disabling power management for the Bluetooth adapter. Go into Device Manager, right click your Bluetooth adapter and select the Power Management tab. Untick the option to allow Windows to put the adapter into sleep mode.

  • Cheers. Bought one.

  • Is this silent type?

    • +6

Yes. It does not play any music nor does it have speakers :(

  • Any good deals on Keyboard and mouse combos?

Yes. Look them up and post on OzBargain

Unlike you, if I had found one, would have already posted here instead of asking.

Lots of negative reviews about the scroll wheel failing

    • yeah, agreed. I bought one myself and then cancelled the order as I wonder how long it will last. The M240 is solid so I decided to wait until that's on sale to pick up another.
