"Bluetooth mouse from a reputable brand."

This is one step up from an AliExpress mouse
It's not something you would enjoy using daily, more like an emergency mouse

The bottom side has got a tiny button. It is for connecting new BT connection or power on/off.

  • The m245 Is a much better mouse for a bit more when on sale. Soft click too.

    • M235 or M240?

  • I bought one from Amazon at $10. I found the bottom surface is quite slippery hence it's a bit hard to do fine control the mouse point where the monitor resolution was quite large.
I recommend to use a mouse pad or put some tape to make more friction at the bottom.

    • I have this mouse…. Sometimes when I use it on my laptop, I have the issue where I feel I don't have as fine control. I'm actually getting the impression that it might be the latency and low polling rate of it's connection to my laptop rather than it being slippery.

That being said, while I know that BT mouse connections aren't as good as wired or other wireless technologies, with another a different laptop, I haven't encountered the issue. It's mainly why I never bothered to return the unit. I figured the fault wasn't in the mouse itself.

  • constantly disconnected, tried many ways but no improvement, not sure why…

USB dongle with 2.4G may be less convenient than Bluetooth but has much better latency and battery.
