hows that going for you .
it is pretty good for me so far only downside is both tanks is pretty small. What I after is the drying function. All the quick dry model is very expensive. This slow dry is OK for me. it is much better than the bissell crosswave cordless max I had before. the bissell one died many times within 4 or 5 years. Fortunately, I had the good guys golden services and I got refund at the end.
Tineco one price in Australia is pretty expensive. the cheapest quick dry model RRP in China is about $300. but in Australia even with discount ,it is about $600
Is this comparable to Dyson G1?
Edit: looks to be better as it has a vacAnyone own this who can vouch for its performance/longevity?
This one doesn't have the flash dry which I think is a game changer. So many of these mops don't dry and end up being breeding grounds for germs and smells bad
All models from this manufacturer have vacuum whereas most mops are just rollers (no vac)You are supposed to wash roller after each use or at least at the end of the day. You cant let wet roller covered in plastic and not expect mould or smell.
Have you tried drying some of them during winter? It takes days!
my roborock flexi lite take about 1 hour to dry. the roller is OK without smells, but the dirty water tank has very bad smell
Moved from this to a Dreame - feels and functions so much better in Dreame
Which Dreame model would you recommend? Does yours have the flash dry function?
Yes, flash dry is good as we often use it (and missus is very smell-sensitive). Using a H12 pro
I have this one and love the convenience, i’d repurchase if it broke but will look at the higher model or dreame with flash drying (as mentioned in the other comment). My mum bought the s7 after using my s6 and said the bigger dirty water tank was really helpful.
Yep, I have the S6 flashdry version, the only difference is how quickly it dries it. I would definitely get another one if mine breaks and I don't think you can go wrong for that price.
While I didn't have this model, I had a Tineco s3 and the longevity sucked. Lost suction and my charging contacts rusted on one side so it could barely charge. Looked on Reddit and there's a lot of problems with Tinecos in general. I bought a Dreame h12 pro and no complaints. Personally wouldn't get another Tineco.
My roborock dyad died so looking for a replacement. Same issue, rust and seized motor due to water sucking up past the filter. Does the dreame h12 pro have rustproof screws or waterproof motor?
I've only had it for 9 months so I can't really say… (my tineco rusted over about a year) But since the tineco fiasco, someone told me to buy some silicon grease from Supercheap auto and occasionally wipe it on the charger ports and some others. I have noticed the screws in the dirty water tank is brown but my charging ports look OK. Uhh not sure about motor, I would hope so…
Had one, it died just outside of warranty. Kept saying that either the dirty water tank was full and needed to be emptied, or else the clean water tank needed filling. Firmware updates and extensive cleaning were unsuccessful in resolving the issues.
Customer service was non-existent unfortunately as it was purchased through Godfrey's, which doesn't exist anymore. I'd steer well clear.
need a deal on an S7 steam!!
I'd advise anyone thinking of buying a Tineco to do some research - plenty of issues with them, especially charging issues on 1-2 year old machines. Their warranty is pretty shit, many reports of people sending their vacuums back for warranty only to be told they don't have the parts to fix them and offering a 10% or 20% discount if they buy a new one. Tineco also used Godfreys as their service agents in Australia who are no longer trading, and unless it has changed recently they don't have anyone in Australia able to fix them under warranty.
Check ProductReview for any of the models that have been out at least a year, or do a search of reddit for tineco warranty, tineco charging etc to see the issues.Even the godfreys warranty was a joke. My charger port had completely rusted over on one side so it took a LOT of jiggling to get it to charge. Sent it in, 9 weeks later got it back and all they did was use a metal brush to brush off the rust, didn't change the metal bits or anything. Managed to sell it off before it eventually will f' up again
Is this any better than the Dyad pro. I've killed the suction motor twice now. It's $60 a pop everytime.
Same as you. This fixed my motor. It's still rusted, but getting a few more uses out of it.
